Wedding in Fiji
The attraction of a wedding in Fiji is understood by romantic couples from around the world. The balmy tropical climate is just one of the reasons why getting married in the South Pacific appeals to the bride and groom planning their nuptial arrangements. The warm weather and blue skies are instantly attractive as they conjure up a honeymoon of relaxed, lazy days on the beach, frolicking in calm blue lagoons and watching the coconut palms swaying gently in the soft cooling breezes. And of course, for the ceremony itself, there is less chance of rain clouds and more chance of a golden setting sun and unpolluted vistas.
Getting married in the Fijian islands is also tempting as it combines both the ceremony itself as well as the ensuing honeymoon. Say ' I do ' as the sun is setting and then immediately commence your glorious honeymoon in paradise. There is no travelling to be done from ceremony venue to reception, nor from reception to airport for your flight off to your honeymoon. The whole romantic package is all rolled up into one.
Cost can also play a part in the choice to have a Fijian marriage ceremony. Most resorts and hotels offer attractively-priced wedding packages and all-inclusive romance packages. This lets you see the total cost instead of the agonising planning process where the budget blows out somewhere along the line. In addition, registries are also becoming more prevalent, so if you wish you can plan it so that your friends and family are able to contribute to your special vacation by paying for those wonderful extras such as massages on the beach, special romantic beach picnic, candle lit dinner for two, or a night's accommodation.
For some, the thought of pledging their love and commitment without family and friends there to personally witness the marriage is not so attractive. In that case, consider the possibility of having those nearest and dearest to you make the trip as well, either staying at your resort, or one nearby. That way they not only can be a part of your special day, but can enjoy the allure of romantic Fiji also.
