NEW SHERATON CHAPEL HOSTS FIRST WEDDING - FIJI ISLANDS
The newly constructed Paradise Wedding Chapel at the Sheraton Fiji Resort hosted it’s first wedding on New Years day. Regina and George Perkins of Washington DC, were the first couple to exchange vows at the chapel located at the Sheraton Fiji beach point.
The Chapel is the first resort chapel on the mainland and was recently completed by local company, Paradise Bride. The Paradise Wedding package, priced at FJD2495 plus 10 percent VAT, includes the marriage license, escorted return transfers to the local registry, a minister of celebrant to officiate, decorative flower sprays, a bridal bouquet and orchid buttonhole, choir, wedding cake, French champagne, professional photography and a gift of 'his & hers' sulus. SONAISALI RESORT OPENS NEW WEDDING BURE - FIJI ISLANDS
Sonaisali Island Resort has recently added a wedding bure, built with Fijian traditional thatching and magi magi. It is a lovely venue for weddings and can also be used as an alfresco Fijian massage bure. The resort currently features 32 luxurious hotel rooms, 3 family bures, 22 beachfront executive bures (all with outdoor deck spas) and 18 oceanview bures.
Also new at Sonaisali a new shopping arcade to their already substantial central complex. The new arcade features a Logo shop, handicraft store, fully equipped business center, Therapeutic Massage / Health & Beauty Centre (now referred to as the Frangipani Health and Beauty Centre), and Rosie Tours office. The development also includes a new games / guest activities room with shower / toilet facilities, and provides additional covered lobby / conference room access.

MANA OPENS HONEYMOON BURES - FIJI ISLANDS
Mana Island Resort has opened seven new honeymoon bures.
All are air-conditioned, on the beach front, and feature kingsize
beds, private open air spa baths/showers, cd and tape player, a
barbecue facility and a self-drive buggy. It is part of a long term
upgrading of resort facilities including a new library, an ice
cream kiosk on South Beach, snuba activities, and several
