The larger 1 bedroom bungalows also accommodate children; accommodation for children 11 years and under is free if existing bedding arrangement is utilised.
Aore Island Resort is located just across the ocean channel from Santo island (Espiritu Santo). The distance is only 3km so it is only a short boat ride. The resort enjoys a beachfront location.
Choose between 18 bungalows. Some are located on the water’s edge with views across to Santo, while others have tropical garden settings. Each type has studio bungalows suitable for couples and 1 bedroom bungalows that can accommodate a third adult or 2 children.
All bungalows have en suite bathrooms with hot showers, and other amenities include refrigerator, fans, and tea/coffee making.

Dining & Entertainment
The large, traditional-styled restaurant is set on the waterfront and is a focal point for enjoying tropical cocktails at sunset, and leisurely meals on the balcony. The restaurant (Melanesian Nakamal) offers all-day dining, and there are daily specials to entice. After sunset, the views across the water with the lights reflecting off the ocean make this a perfect spot to sit back and relax.
Popular activities include scuba diving (refer diving section below for more details) as well as free snorkelling and free kayaking. Trips and tours, like the diving, can be arranged at extra cost; there is much to see and do in this region. Fishing, outrigger canoeing, picnic on a tropical island, plantation walks ...

This part of Vanuatu is famous for its scuba diving, not only the coral reefs but also the many World War II wrecks, including the SS President Coolidge.
