VIWA ISLAND RESORT offers couples the opportunity to experience a truly magical and romantic location in Fiji. White sand beaches, beautiful ocean views, lush tropical surroundings, spacious Fijian bure accommodations, al fresco dining overlooking the magnificent pool, activities and more!
Since the resort has a policy of not accommodating under 12 year olds, it is ideal for a couples escape, honeymoon destination or location for the most beautiful tropical wedding.

There are 11 beachfront accommodations, three of which have two bedrooms. These larger Deluxe 2-bedroom bures have 2 king beds, which can be split into king singles if required. The other eight spacious bures have one king bed. Again, these can be configured as 2 king singles if required.
All bures have air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans, plus private verandah. Room amenities include tea-coffee making, refrigerator, coffee plunger, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in room safe and seating area.
The uniquely designed private ensuite bathrooms have a lovely garden aspect allowing light to flood into the room.
Dining & Entertainment
Experience the ultimate pleasure of dining under the stars, either on the terrace of the Rai Ki Wasa Terrace restaurant that overlooks the pool to the beach, or - on request - at a romantic location right on the beach.
The resort’s chef has designed a varied menu and special dietary needs can also be accommodated. As you would imagine of an island resort encircled by the bounteous ocean, seafood is freshly caught locally. Organic produce is also grown on the island.
Daily continental breakfast is included in the tariff. And lunch in the tropics of Fiji is always one of the highlights of the day.
Facilities include restaurant, bar, pool, and boutique stocked with basic items you may need such as sunscreen, along with t-shirts, hats and sulus (cotton wraps) that make a great souvenir of your stay. Massages are also available, either at your bure or at a private beach location.
In addition to swimming and relaxing by the pool or on the sand, the island is ideal for snorkelling or kayaking right off the beach. Hand-line fishing is also complimentary. Other activities that can be arranged include sports and game fishing (the resort boat has the latest Shimano equipment) as well as scuba diving (the resort has a Dive Instructor right on the resort). Guests can enjoy numerous cultural activities (coconut husking, visits to a local village, basket/hat weaving), plus beach volleyball, petanque, and table tennis,
