Location
Musket Cove Island Resort is located in the beautiful Mamanuca Islands of Fiji on the island of Malolo Lailai. This island can be accessed from Nadi by launch as well as by direct light aircraft services from Nadi International Airport, a flight that takes only around 7 minutes.
Accommodation
There are 55 traditional thatched bures and villas at Musket Cove Resort, nestled among the tall coconut palms, landscaped tropical gardens, by the lagoon, or along the white sand beachfront. Room types include Garden Bures (king bed + 2 single beds), Lagoon Bures (king bed, single bed and sofa bed - sorry no children under 10 years in this category), Beachfront Bures (max 3 adults, children not accommodated in this category), Armstrong Villas (2 x king beds that convert to singles if required, not for under 10 year olds), and finally Resort Villas (sleeps up to five adults, or 5 adults and children).
The bures have breakfast bar, with toaster, crockery and cutlery as well as coffee and tea making facilities. The Villas have kitchens.
Dining & Entertainment
Dining venues include Dick’s Place Restaurant and Bar, the Marina Coffee Cove, and The Ratu Nemani Island Bar. In addition, The Trader store offers a complete range of produce for snacks or for those wishing to self-cater, as well as on-site bakery.
Facilities
Facilities include restaurants and bars, supermarket, boutique and gift shop, bottle shop, barbecues, marina and harbour, laundry, Yacht Club, Fijian entertainment, swimming pools and babysitting.
Activities
Activities for which there is NO charge include windsurfing, kayaking, hand line fishing, and snorkelling (gear provided). There are also rowboats, canoes and a long-boat trip to a nearby Fijian Village.
For hire there are hobie cats, sport and game fishing trips, water-skiing, island sailing cruises, a 9 hole golf course at nearby Plantation, yacht charters and scuba diving.
Weddings
The resort offers full wedding co-ordinator services to help you plan your special day in paradise. There is a choice of location .. in the gardens, on a small island, on the jetty, a yacht, at the marina and more! There is also a choice of catering, from romantic dinner for two under the stars to full banquets for up to 100! Wedding packages are available.
Spa Facilities
The Mandara Spa offers a full range of massage and beauty treatments, including manicures, pedicures, waxing and hairdressing. Bridal make up treatments are a special feature for those getting married during their stay. There are 2 single treatment rooms and 2 double treatment rooms as well as an open air massage bure.
