Lusia’s Lagoon Resort is a small, boutique resort located on the big island of Savai’i in Samoa. It’s surrounded by serene lagoons and lush tropical landscaping, with a protected bay teeming with fish in brilliant colors. Dramatic, surreal, black lava cliffs where ocean meets land. If you are looking for somewhere a little different, somewhere relaxing, we are the place you have been looking for !
At Lusia’s Lagoon Resort you can walk through a natural Samoan forest amongst the towering and rare native ifilele trees. Take a dip in our turquoise lagoon, or for the more adventurous you may like to snorkel or kayak to view the amazing variety of marine life. Turtles usually laze in our Pulusau pool, warming in the sun. We have many activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, beach volleyball court, badmintong, pentaque (outdoor bowling), cycling, reading, pool table, fishing the traditional way with bamboo pole, umu demonstration and more. If you are undecided on what to do you can hire a van at the reception or book guided tours around the main highlights of the island.
Included in every stay price is breakfast inspired by this island home. In the evening, enjoy a satisfying meal or a Vailima (our national lager beer), or your favourite cocktail at our famous CC’s Restaurant & Bar, or why not experience dining under the stars, surrounded by fairy lights on Monsieur Godinet’s Deck situated on the edge of our stunning turquoise lagoon. Every visitor has the opportunity to choose how much - or how little - to do each day. This is Lusia’s Lagoon Resort where Samoa still exists; unplugged, unpretentious, unmatched. We take pride in our laid back atmosphere combined with our first class service. Location
On the map we are to the left of Salelologa Wharf, Savaii Island. Once arrived in Faleolo International Airport located on Upolu Island where the capital Apia is settled, it takes approximately only 10 minutes to drive to Mulifanua Wharf as you leave the Airport, remember to turn right though. At the Wharf you can catch a ferry to get to us; you will arrive at Salelologa Wharf in Savaii Island. Lusia’s sign is opposite (towards left), of the Salelologa Terminal. Your view might be blocked by some buses or taxis at first. As soon as you are out of the Salelologa Wharf Terminal, turn left, follow the coastline main road, and continue walking for up to 8 minutes, look for Lusia’s sign on your left. Or you may choose to take a taxi, takes only 2 minutes and costing just $3.00 Samoan Talas. For the young enthusiasts, walking is a way of witnessing at first glance the beauty of our fauna and flora, say Talofa (Hello) to any of us walking the opposite direction, we like that, we consider it a sign of your friendliness and respect. If still confused please don’t hesitate to email us.
