The aims of our management team are to provide luxury and privacy in a tropical, island setting. We strive to ensure our guests are left alone to unwind, enjoy, and relax each day. We encourage everyone to ’get wet’ swimming with the tropical fish that graze in the coral gardens at our doorstep.

Location
Located on the southern coast, which usually assures calm and fresh climatic conditions, our bungalows are privileged to be situated in front of a ’Raui’ zone, where the entry to the lagoon is in a marine protected wildlife area. Thus, the tropical reef fish abound here in great numbers with various species of all colours imaginable.

Accommodation
Each of the five (5) individual bungalows is a free standing ’ngutu’are’ (home away from home) with a total surface area of 65 square metres - 700 square feet.

Conceptualised and built in the island style, each unit is elevated off the ground to allow cool breezes to circulate under the tile floor. To capture the Polynesian flavour, the exterior roofs are lined with coconut thatch, the ceilings decorated with island cloth, and the interior walls covered with split, woven bamboo.

The entire furniture theme is old style, tropical design made uniquely out of exotic wood. The mood and ’mana’ (feeling) of our interior decor strives to capture the local, native charm of yesteryear. White sand, Areca palms and rock gardens surround the private bungalows.

All of our identical, luxury accommodations feature ** wide, covered deck with teak furniture ** intimate lounge with single day bed ** kitchenette with large refrigerator/freezer, tile counter with stainless steel sink, gas cook top, microwave, toaster, kettle, and quality crockery/ utensils/ glassware ** wood bar counter and dining area ** one large, AIR- CONDITIONED bedroom with clock radio and a quality king size bed (split able into two singles), complimentary Satelitte Television ** one, unique bathroom which features a tropical ’garden’ shower ** wall mounted hairdryer in the bathroom ** two, wood-bladed ceiling fans ** hidden valuables box ** insect screened doors and windows ** private telephone line (International Direct Dial and Internet access are also available with credit card via the local telecommunications provider).

Dining & Entertainment
Our luxury bungalows provide self-catering facilities (kitchenette with large refrigerator/freezer, tile counter with stainless steel sink, gas cook top, microwave, toaster, kettle, and quality crockery/ utensils/ glassware, wood bar counter and dining area).

There are also a variety of local restaurants for dining out.

Activities
The Cook Islands offer warm weather, tranquility, and relaxed atmosphere. Many activities are available such as snorkelling, nature walks, jeep safaris, guided lagoon tours, scuba diving, car/scooter hire, game fishing, black pearl shopping, Cultural Village tours, and the Saturday farmers’ market. Various churches, a convenience shop and a small tea salon are within walking distance from our accommodation.

Rarotonga Beach Bungalows offers COMPLIMENTARY use of: snorkelling equipment, kayaks, sun lounges, guest laundry, ironing facilities, guest parking, morning coffee bar (with fruit/doughnuts - when available), paperback library and a small guest lounge.

Except for short periods of time, a management ’host or hostess’ is available every day to assist with our clients’ needs and questions. Information, advice and local bookings can be handled, during normal working hours, from our reception/office.

Weddings
WEDDINGS, organised with island specialists, can be held on-site.
