Location
Sandy Beach Resort is situated on the island of Foa, in the Ha’apai group of islands. Click on the map link to see our location. Guests will be transferred by Resort Van...just 10 km north of Lifuka Airport.

Accommodation
Sandy Beach Resort has only 12 Bungalows and each is just a few steps to the water’s edge. Comfortable and placed apart so that you don’t see the others. It’s your own bit of paradise!

Twelve large, solid built and comfortable fales are set among tropical foliage right on the beach. Each bungalow has a spacious veranda overlooking the sea, furnished with comfortable armchairs, while deck chairs and beach towels are provided too. The large rooms are tiled, cooled by ceiling fans and have either one king size bed or two single beds. Spacious tiled bathrooms with hot shower. Refrigerator, coffee and tea making facilities, clock radio. All Bungalows have free WIFI available

Dining & Entertainment
Don’t tell anyone, but the restaurant alone is worth the trip !! Freshest fish and lobsters are delivered to the beach every day by the local fishermen, providing the base for your perfect dinner.

MEAL PRICES : Breakfast (European style) - Euro 15 per person/day; Dinner (3-4 course) Euro 35 per person/day.

Facilities
The main building contains the bar and restaurant, library, phone-fax-internet facilities,a large oceanfront terrace where you can sit and sip as the sun sets over the nearby volcanic islands of Tofua and Kao. Watch the Flying Foxes flying over the resort at sundown on their way into the nearby plantations.

Activities
The resort is situated on a most beautiful secluded beach, which allows swimming and other water-sport activities at all tides. The nearest Tongan village, where the traditional lifestyle is still alive, is 1.5 km away. Enjoy incredible sunsets from the resort’s terrace to the sounds of classical music before adjourning to the fully licensed restaurant where fresh fish and lobster are the specialty. The scuba dive operation, Happy Ha’apai Divers - KIWI owned - provides expert lessons for beginners and also caters for experienced divers all year round.

Courtesy or INCLUDED in our accommodation rates: All taxes, use of snorkel/mask, bicycles, kayaks, canoes, Shuttle to Pangai for Church Service and Sightseeing, guided bush and reef walks, guided kayak trips to nearby islands, Tongan cultural show (dependent on availability of the villagers), unlimited Tea/Coffee/Sugar/Milk and safe Drinking Water supply in rooms.

EXTRA FEE FOR: Guided Horseback Riding (with the Villager Horses), Scuba Diving (Dive Base HAPPY HA’APAI DIVERS on the Resort grounds), Boat Trips to other Islands and Whale Watch Trips in the season August to end October.
