The award-winning The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa is located on the island’s sunshine Southwest coast, where guests can enjoy all-day sun, stunning sunsets, a pristine uncrowded white sand beach, and excellent off-beach snorkelling in the protected marine sanctuary directly in front of the resort.

Expansively laid out amidst six acres of hibiscus, banana and coconut palms, most of The Rarotongan’s 109 rooms & suites are set on absolute beachfront. The Rarotongan has undergone extensive renovations and improvements. The Rarotongan is proud to offer Villa Onemaru - a private Luxury Villa. This upscale villa is located near the Resort, and provides upscale, luxury villa living for couples, families, or small groups to enjoy.

The Resort’s most obvious attraction is its stunning natural setting, nestled between the reef and the dramatic rainforest. Most of The Rarotongan’s rooms and suites, plus its restaurants, bar and magical Waterfalls Pool, are set at the edge of our pristine white sand beach.

Enjoy casual dining in Captain Andy’s Beach Bar & Grill, or enjoy fine island cuisine at our Te Vaka Restaurant. Modern continental fare is featured, along with some wonderful local traditional dishes.

The expansive veranda overlooking the sea is perfect spot for a sunset cocktail or dinner under the stars.
