The air pass is only available to clients from Europe and is valid through to April 30 2003. Prices start at 60 Euro for domestic New Zealand flights and end at 199 Euro for flights between New Zealand and South Pacific Islands. Polynesian now operates seven days a week out of Auckland to Wellington and Christchurch on behalf of Qantas. It helps free Qantas aircraft to go back to Australia, following the collapse of Ansett Airlines services there. Polynesian's 'state of the art' long-range B737-800 aircraft with winglets, the first of its type in the South Pacific, operates New Zealand domestic routes crewed by Polynesian pilots and flight attendants. With its two B737-800 aircraft in service, Polynesian has also increased flights between Apia and New Zealand, Australia, Tahiti and Tonga.
